WHAT IS THE GRAPE DATE?
The Grape Date is a small-group wine tour designed for people who are single and would like to meet others — properly, over something worth sharing. Two private Hunter Valley tastings, guided by Daniel, with a format that gives you an unhurried conversation with every person in the room. No awkward icebreakers. Just wine, good company, and a day that takes care of itself.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Every Grape Date follows the same format — small enough to feel intimate, structured enough that you genuinely meet everyone in the room.
Guests · Ten people per event — five women, five men. Capped by design.
Age groups · Each event is dedicated to one age bracket: 35–50 or 50 and over. You book the group that matches you.
Cellar doors · Two private Hunter Valley tastings, guided by Daniel. He knows every winemaker by name.
Lunch · A long lunch at éRemo Hunter Valley, ordered and paid independently at the venue. Not included in the ticket price.
Drop-off · Return to Crowne Plaza Terrigal (Central Coast) or Ettalong Wharf (Palm Beach), where the evening is yours.
THE DAY

The group meets and departs together. The drive north to the Hunter Valley is where the day begins.

Board the Fantasea Cruising ferry at Palm Beach Wharf. Daniel meets the group at Ettalong Wharf for the drive to the Hunter Valley.

A private tasting at the first handpicked winery. The rotation begins — a format that ensures you have a natural conversation with every person in the room.

The group moves to éRemo for a long lunch. Each guest orders and pays independently. The table is set, the pace is easy.

A second private tasting at a handpicked Hunter Valley producer. The afternoon unfolds from here.

Drop-off at your departure point, where the evening is yours.
GETTING THERE
Every Grape Date departs from a central muster point — no door-to-door pickup. Guests make their own way to the departure point and travel together from there.

Not at all. Cellar door staff guide every tasting and explain what's in the glass. Every level of wine knowledge is welcome — the point is the conversation, not the credentials.

No. Every seat is reserved for someone who is single — it's what makes the format work. If you'd like to come along with a friend, we'd love to have you on one of our regular Coast to Cork wine tours instead.

Lunch at éRemo Hunter Valley is ordered and paid independently at the venue — it is not included in the tour price.

Each event is dedicated to one age bracket — either 35 to 50, or 50 and over. You book the event that matches you. This keeps the group at a similar point in life and makes conversation easier.

Yes. Each event is capped at five women and five men. Tickets are sold separately by gender, so the balance is built into the booking. If your ticket type sells out, you'll see that at checkout.

Please refer to the cancellation terms shown at checkout. If an event cannot proceed, you will be contacted at least 48 hours in advance, refunded in full, and offered a place on the next available event in your age group.
