We're a Central Coast business, and this is the day we'd plan for our own friends. We collect you from your door and you settle into our black Mercedes. From there, the Hunter Valley is around 90 minutes away, with no driving, no designated driver and nothing to organise. Every booking, timing and detail is taken care of. All that's left is the wine, the food and the people you came with.

Daniel has worked in the Hunter Valley for twenty years. The winemakers and cellar door teams we visit know him well, so when you arrive, you're welcomed as a friend rather than a walk-in. As one of our private guests put it, that's what makes it worth its weight in gold.

  • A: We collect you from your home or accommodation anywhere on the Central Coast and drop you back to your door at the end of the day.

  • A: Around 90 minutes, depending on where you are on the Coast. With someone else driving, it's the easiest part of the day.

  • A: Yes. This is a private tour exclusively for your group. There are no shared vehicles or combined itineraries — the day is tailored to your pace and preferences.

  • A: Private tours are suitable for groups of 2 to 11 guests. They’re ideal for couples, families, small groups of friends, or special occasions.

  • A: Private tours require a minimum of 2 guests. If you're travelling solo, we recommend joining one of our small group luxury tours instead.

  • A: We specialise in boutique, family-run cellar doors in the Hunter Valley. Your itinerary is thoughtfully curated, and we’re happy to tailor winery selections based on your wine preferences.

  • Thomas Allen is a members-only cellar door, and its wines are only sold on site. Coast to Cork is the only tour company able to bring guests there without prior approval, thanks to relationships Daniel has built over twenty years in the valley.

  • A: Lunch is not included in the tour price. We include a long lunch stop and secure a booking at a quality Hunter Valley venue, and guests pay for lunch on the day. This gives you the freedom to order what suits you.

  • A: Absolutely. Private tours are designed to be flexible. If you have favourite wineries, a preferred lunch style, or a special occasion to plan around, we’ll tailor the day to suit your group.

  • A: Thursday to Monday. We take one private group per guide each day, so it's worth booking early, especially for weekends and December.

  • A: Yes — many guests book this experience for birthdays, anniversaries, proposals, or milestone celebrations. Let us know if you’re celebrating something special and we’ll help make the day memorable.

  • A: Yes. Children and teenagers are welcome, and we'll fit up to two child seats before pick-up at no extra cost. There's room in the vehicle for a pram, though some venues have steps or limited access, so let us know and we'll plan around it.

  • A: Yes, up to two dogs per booking. Dogs need to be harnessed in the vehicle and on a leash throughout the day, and we'll plan the itinerary around dog-friendly venues. Please let us know when booking.

  • A: Private tours run Thursday to Monday. We take just one private group per guide each day, so we recommend booking early, especially for weekends and December.
